I can't see his face - he's wearing a gas mask!
Looks really nice though. I particularly like the high contrast shoulder pads. _________________ Mike Major

Yep, British Gas Mask heads from their Secrets of the Third Reich line. West Wind is great. The Separate Head System is an idea that I want GW to implement. |

Works continues apace. Probably faster now that I know how much time I have left. Hopefully the new IG codex is out sooner rather than later, in case I have to add another fifty infantry! (And what a shame that would be...)
If anybody is interested, I've started a proper blog, also featuring my Cheap Fast and Easy Terrain (tm). Behold, A Canadian In Space! |

Just like always...
Now if only I could determine the ultimate Chaos Commander. And anyone who says Lash Prince is obviously wrong.
I forget how many models I have to paint. Maybe 33 power armor and a spiffy new HQ...
I could drop a few from that if I just use older models... I will be bringing non-Nurgle troops though.
Yes you heard that correctly. Must get painting tomorrow.
I'm more worried about my terrain. I was going to work on it over the break but the weather cramped that. I still need more foam... |

How many of those heads did you buy? Max Mini and Tins Bitz also make seperate heads which are blantantly made for GW IG... They make backpack and carapace armor too but some things aint so cheap.
I've been collecting a lot of links on painting, terrain, and manufactures which ended up here.
Apparently I need to post a picture, how about this one?

Thread Hijackin': Muskie's Doin' It Rite.
Forty, I think. Maybe sixty. I'm going to need to do another big order soon as I only have a squad or two's worth left. I'm in need of backpacks and stuff, so I'll have a look at those manufacturers you mentioned.
Oh, and thanks for the link to Warlord Games! I finally found a Nebelwerfer in the right scale. |

You won't believe how much time I've wasted sorting and collecting those links. I'm slowly working my way through ordering or at least buying miniatures and bitz from some of these new smaller manufacturers.
A lot of them are in the UK so shipping the exchange rate is a bit mystifying. TheWarStore carries a lot of stuff and seems open to getting more ranges if people ask. Darren and Imperial Hobbies can get some stuff in if you ask about it. Though I've ordered directly from the manufacture especially when they had end of year sales.
It's worked out fine for me, but I've read about some manufacturers being less than prompt in filling orders so I've tried to edit my list effectively. It has a 40K bias, but includes lots of historical manufactures too.
I better get painting... I think I spent an entire month on that one Nob... |
