Thanks for the kind words Mike. Apparantly I'm not too bright however !
Even after giving me fair warning about the Nobz in the the big battle wagon, I didn't clue in ! Doh. and susequently got my "lost Patrol" killed by said Nobz on the bottom of Turn 1.
So lesson to all playing "Lost Patrol". if given the chance, go second, to be able to react to your apponent accordingly. And if he tells you about the big battle wagon full of Nobz, Listen to him.
Great game Mike.
And thanks again.

I noticed the Toronto results doesn't list any of the armies played. It's kinda cool to see how each one did overall. _________________ Tactics: All good in theory, all gone to hell in practice.

Yah it was, column BK in the first WorkSheet. Here is the information you really want:
Number of people who played each army:
13th Company 1
Blood Angels 1
Chaos Daemons 6
Chaos Space Marines 8
Dark Angels 2
Dark Eldar 2
Eldar 4
Imperial Guard 3
Orks 4
Space Marines 9
Tau 4
Tyranids 3
Witch Hunters 1
Number of Power Armor armies (counting Witch Hunters as no): 21
Here is the average Inverse placing with first being worth 48 and last being worth 1 for each army:
13th Company 35
Blood Angels 36
Chaos Daemons 24.2
Chaos Space Marines 19.6
Dark Angels 37
Dark Eldar 25.5
Eldar 32.3
Imperial Guard 16
Orks 36
Space Marines 16.6
Tau 20.8
Tyranids 35
Witch Hunters 20
So it has been mathematically proven that the best players play Dark Angels and the worst players play Imperial Guard. I bet this changes some by Winnipeg and definitely Vancouver. |

Thanks for that Muskie. Obviously I was unaware of what magical and wonderful things can happen when you click on an arrow icon. _________________ Tactics: All good in theory, all gone to hell in practice.

And I wasn't aware that Dark Angels are actually good.
It would have been nice to see Ravenwing/Deathwing or the four Chaos Powers, but we'll have to wait and see how many use the newest codex come next Astro. I know some are not going to use it and others were trying to build new armies just for it.
Me I need to shut up and paint, black unfortunantly. That was all I painted last night, black... |

I'm pretty sure those two DA players at Astro Toronto played Ravenwing and Deathwing... so I wouldn't say Dark Angels are good, just their specialty lists are _________________ Mike Fiume |
