Sorry about the first post , jumped the gun a little. Hello all, My name is Matt and am looking forward to this years Astro in Vancouver. I played a couple of years ago out of Coeurd'Alene Idaho with the Gamers Haven group. And i think A lot of those same members are coming up again to try and bring back some awards to the States. I play Space Marines and am thinking of bringing some Tau up there this year. Hope to see some of you there.

Hi Matt,

It will be great to have you and the Coeurd'Alene crew up again this year! You were all definitely missed last time around.

Cheers,

Howdy all,

Not sure why it has taken me this long to join the Astro forums... anyway, I'm Ray, aka Sonic Monkey, aka Szetor, and a few other names (usually not profane ones).

I continue to build and bring an Imperial Guard army themed along the Canadian Army in Afghanistan. Thanks to Walke's mentorship, I went from kitbash to scratchbuilt LAVs, tanks, and other such things... and yet, there's still more to build.

Anyway, I'll keep an eye on these forums to see what's going on - Astro is one of the few/only tourney I attend, mainly because it's fun reuniting with fun-hobby players and trying out the different scenarios!

Welcome to the forums, Ray.

It is good to have you here. It was awesome seeing your army in person. They are definitely something to take pride in.

The best way to get the most out of the forums is to be active here. This tends to get a whole lot more people involved and helps the community grow outside of Astro weekends.

Enjoy!
