Well I get together with Thor and together we work on it every Thursday evening with the soft, soothing sounds of a 17 piece band that practices at the warehouse. The display along with my army and army list will all come together by Astro Vancouver 2010! Smile

Alright, I am still working on the extremely difficult Forge World decals on my Valkyrie.. they're thinner than the regular GW ones and break so much easier.. plus there's more glue so they don't move as easily! Anyways, I managed to snap a picture of all that I've completed since the beginning of this challenge and updated my original post. I may, or may not have more by the end of the month, depends if my Valkyrie ends up in my neighbours yard from frustration or not.

I way overshot what I could do in 3 months, but at least my overall goal is to have my 1500 points painted and the display finished by Astronomi-con Vancouver 2010!

Where's the picture?

I think I need to be logged in to see it.

I'm still painting this years Astro army. The sweat is dripping off me, I though the heat wave was over.

I think I need to find the army that has the least detailed models, then I'd need them to be a super elite army. Maybe I'll run deathwing. Except I'd paint them purple and green. Wink

Perhaps some closeups at some point.

Brown isn't that hard to paint, hows the off white/beige color going?

I managed to finish and decal up two more tanks.. the Valkyrie may never get done, stupid decals.. I've added an Exterminator and a Super Heavy, Shadowsword.

lol thanks! I heard a rumour today that Astro is thinking of coming back to Vancouver in January.. if this is the case, this army will not be ready in time. If it just a rumour and Astro is Summer, then I do believe it will all come together nicely!

I won't have a new army by January, but unlike you two, I entered last year undertaking an ultimately futile but still heroic all night painting effort at the end.

I'm still recovering. Wink

I got a couple thousand points of Diseased Sons so I can scrounge together a force, I may even have a second painted army, but as for my rebels. UPS finally admitted they lost my copy of Imperial Armour 7 after repeatedly assuring me that it would be delivered by the end of business day, several days in a row.

The sad part is it, made it to my apartment door, I was just at work...
