Hey John, I've been aspiring to get an Armageddon Apocalypse game going since I suggested it to Xian several months ago.
My biggest obstacle at this point has been recruiting some fellow Ork players for the cause. If you know of any, let me know (email addys, anything).
I've got around 5000pts approx and can probably recruit Gagan Thable and Wallace Greenlay for the game.

I'll try and talk to the Ork players that I know (Scott Newall, Alex Bedard, and his friend Geoff) to see if they're interested. I know Scott Harder was starting Orks, but I'm not sure about how far along they are beyond the planning stages!

John I don''t know if you still check these boards regularly or if you're coming to Astro....but I'd still like to get this idea off the ground.
We ran an Armageddon-esque battle a couple months back...Wally and I fielded somewhere around 12K points of Orks vs Imperium (mixed bag of IG, Wolves and Blood Angels)... MASSIVE scrum, it was wild.
I think we would have to look to GW to hold this as we need a BIG table space. |

I still check in fairly regularly, and of course I'm still interested! However, I won't be at Astro this year... my summer is kinda getting mauled by my workplace (we're moving) so overtime and some weekends are manditory... and we never know until the last minute. So I haven't really prepared anything for Astro since I'm likely going to be stuck working one or both days. 
But please keep me updated... as long as we don't do it this summer, I should be able to attend any Armageddon-themed Megabattle!
