After an involved discussion with my fellow organizers, we've reached a consensus that the rules for Flyers in Apocalypse will be used for Astronomi-con events from this point forward.

There were a number of good reasons for this change, many of which have been voiced here or on the mailing list already.

- Using Flyers in Apocalypse is the defacto standard for incorporating flyers into games of 40k. Most players have played with or against flyers using these rules.

- The original rules for Flyers in Imperial Armour are not nearly as accessable as those in the Apocalypse rulebook.

- The Apocalypse rules for flyers are more integrated with the game turn sequence than those in IA.

- Forgeworld is moving toward using the Apocalypse rules for their flyers in their more recent releases.
