Very Happy Welcome to the forum.

Will Grant and the Kuiwanas are putting in a course in Staunton at Montgomery Hill Park. 18 holes with Innova baskets. We were there 2-weeks ago and yesterday mapping out the holes. We are suppose to get an airial photo of the park today and will move closer to getting the holes laid. Will wants to have the course complete by June for a "Kids" throw.
We'll keep you in the loop and would like your input as well. I'm in C-ville now but will be moving back to Dayton in June-July.
We will also be designing a new park for Hillandale Park in Harrisonburg as well.
Ironman next year will be even tougher.

Come along for the ride.

Cool Also pull up the BRDGC home page on PDGA.com under any of the Charlottesville courses. There is a Ironman brochure there with dates and times on the site.

Hey,

This is Mark Schinkel, I am orginially from Fairfax County up in northernVa. I just started playing disc golf up there at the Burke Lake course just a handful of months and scored a -1 my first time. I have lived in Harrisonburg and going to school at Blue Ridge for a couple years but just found out about the Westover course about 2 weeks ago and play as much as i can since. My best score there was a +9 which i got today compared to my first game on the course was a +17 two weeks ago. I am definitly interested in these tournaments you guys set up around the area course and would like whatever information that is given. I am interested in seeing what the competition is like around here.

Hey Mark, welcome to the area. Look though this site and find our newly relocated to the H'burg area friend James Beasley. He is registered on this site as "Innovagodadavida". I feel positive he will be willing to hook up with you at Westover for a round.....

Hello all there is a new bagger in town and my name is Jesse Pritchard!

I've been playing fairly seriously in Atlanta for about a year now and can't wait to see what VA has to offer.

I'm moving up this coming weekend(July 23). I'm going to be super busy for a little while as I am in charge of athletic fields for UVA, but I'm sure I'll find some time to fit in a round or two on a couple of courses.

Can't wait to meet some new people and throw some discs.

Jesse

The previous guy took the groundskeeper position for the Washington Nationals. No one has been on site to manage the fields for five months. I know the grass is in poor shape. Hopefully with some hard work we'll have it looking good before the first game September 3.

If you need anyone to test the grass by throwing some discs from end-to-end, then let us (me) know.
