Ian from the Wheelers is hoping to put on some MTB time trials in Llaneglwys forest

I need to know how many people in our club would be genuinely interested in going as it affects which night of the week it will be run. It was originally intended to run on thursdays, but this would clash with our track running

If there are only 2 people who would ever do it then it can run on a thursday, but if half of our club want to go, we might be able to persuade them to run it on a wednesday. However, if there is no way that you could attend both sessions, then it's irrelevant

Please tell me if you would be interested and your thoughts on the matter

Hi Steve,

Sounds like good fun and I may well attend a few.

However, I know I am away for at least 2 of the dates and at the moment have a few other 'sporting commitments' Shocked Consequently, please don't count on me as a regular, but may well have a go at a couple if I can fit them in, but it wouldn't make any odds to me personally whether its on a Wednesday or Thursday.

Well Done Ian though for sorting it out and would be interested in MTB stuff later in the year Very Happy

Steve - I look forward to seeing you kick ass Exclamation

Hi Steve,
Sounds like good fun., especially now I've got a decent mountain bike, but I wouldn't be able to do it on a regular basis. because of work commitments, but would like to do a few during the season. andrewj

Time trials are starting next week - should be fun, even just to watch some semi-pro riders racing hard

I'll be there hopefully, I think we're supposed to meet at the picnic area and ride to the start

Wednesday 13th June - 7pm
Wednesday 20th June - 7pm
Wednesday 11th July - 7pm
Wednesday 25th July - 7pm
Wednesday 1st August - 7pm
Wednesday 8th August - 9pm (Night TT - sunset 7:46pm)

I've picked weeks where there isn't a club TT on a Tuesday, so people can ride on fresh legs

We're still on for the time trials. I'll be up there on Sunday doing some trail work if anyone fancies it.

If I'm super-organised, I'll put a map on the BW forum too.

Meeting place for the TT will be here at 6:45pm: http://tinyurl.com/3ywkdd. We'll ride from there into the centre of the forest as a bit of a warm-up. The start will be by the Sheds in the middle of the woods, as close to 7pm as we can manage.

Ian
