I was just wondering if there is anyone out there doing the Cardiff Half next Sunday and has room for one more in their car? I am fully house trained and will be more than happy to contribute towards petrol costs. If you can accommodate me please send a PM or see me at the swim on Tuesday (I'll be the one wearing arm bands) or the Thursday night run session.
Cheers

We will be driving there on Sunday and have a spare seat in the car. Will see you at the track on Thursday and arrange meeting up.

Hey Trevor
Did you do the 10k this weekend? How did you go? _________________ "The greatest pleasure in life, is doing the things people say we cannot do." |

Apologies, Paul, but we won't be going to Cardiff after all.
Best of luck in the race.

No dramas Trev, I think I have a reserve lift in Little Fat Welshman(?), who said on Tuesday I could have a lift with him if you couldn't accommodate. Judging by your 10K time you would have been waiting around a long time afterwards for me to finish anyway!
Did the Liverpool 10K last year it is a nice run through Sefton park although there is some debate as to whether it is the correct distance. People ran it with Garmin and claimed it was short of the 10K.
BTW, I don't suppose you are interested in running the Gwent League Cross Country this Saturday for Brecon AC? (Apologies for the recruitment drive BMS people) It is in Swansea and transport is provided from Brecon. Details below:

Can give you more info tomorrow

Not available all weekend sadly, but would be interested in some cross country running in the future if you are short handed.

Hi Trevor
Yes we are always on the look out for new victims, I mean volunteers, for the Cross Country season. The Gwent League fixtures are as follows:
The dates and venues of the fixtures are now:
Saturday 13 October - Singleton Park, Swansea
Sunday 11 November - University of Bath
Sunday 2 December - Newbridge Fields, Bridgend
Sunday 10 February 2008 - Blaise Castle, Bristol
Please keep them in mind, there could be an additional fixture here at Brecon but it hasn't been confirmed yet.
More information can be found on the website:

Cheers
