Sarah's post got deleted over the Bank Holiday as the forum got messed, but basically what do you all think to a tri specific spinning class at the leisure centre run by our resident spining teacher, Sarah T

Great idea, especially through the winter, Friday night would get my vote, as that would give me the best chance of attending.

| Excellent idea - would likely get 'team Hayward' there as well. |

Hiya
At the moment the LC have pencilled me in for a 8-9pm session on a Tues (which I think was aimed at the Tri club) plus an early 7am-8am class on Weds morning aimed at general earlybirds (but maybe not the best time for the more intense session the club might want). However, nothing is written in stone and as far as they are concerned it is really up to us to nominate a time and day if we want a particular club session (there is of course the alternative of any individual joining any of the sessions with any of the instructors). From a personal point of view I want to avoid too much too-ing and fro-ing into town hence Tues eve suits (I come in to swim anyway); Friday is not a good night for me, and Mon and Thurs eves from 7pm the courts are taken by the squash club hence no spinning. Which just leaves Weds eves or early mornings;
What think ye? |

Sarah,
We spoke after swimming last night. A Tue evening would work well for us but as we all said a break between sessions (bike then swim) will be needed. Certainly good for the winter months (and maybe for the summer as well as none of the Haywards made a TT this year! I'm sure Lynda and Chris will be there on a Tue evening giving their support, looking like I will have to miss both spinning and swim this side of Christmas - off to work near Lincon, they don't pay me nearly enough!! |

Sarah,
Definitely up for your spin class.
What about 7:30 on a Tuesday, then there is a half hour break before swimming?

| Just to update on this..there IS a spin session on a Tues eve, but I haven't managed to get it moved to earlier because the LC want people leaving circuits at 8pm to have the chance to go straight on to a spinning class 8-9pm. It isn't a dedicated Tri session but will probably be the one I make the hardest workout ..still doesn't leave much time to recover for those going on to swimming though. Anyway, sessions start next week (22nd +)...ok? |
