The Job Interview A young blonde woman goes to an office for a job interview . The interviewer decides to start with the basics. "So, miss, can you tell us your age, please?"
The blonde counts carefully on her fingers for about 3 seconds before replying "Ehh... 23!".
The interviewer tries another straight forward one to break the ice. "And can you tell us your height, please?"
The young lady stands up and produces a measuring tape from her handbag. She then traps one end under her foot and extends the tape to the top of her head. She checks the measurement and announces, "Five foot three!"
This isn't looking good so the interviewer goes for the real basics. "And ehh, just to confirm for our records, your name please?"

The interviewer is completely baffled at this stage, so he asks "Just out of curiosity, miss. We can understand your counting on your fingers to work out your age, and the measuring tape for your height is obvious, but what were you doing when we asked you your name?"
"Ohh that!" replies the blonde, "That's just me running through 'Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you...'"

MARK 2010 down as the year for Geoff Ogilvy to finally take world golf by the scruff of the neck. Sure, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson were missing, but the manner in which the 32-year-old Australian claimed victory in the $US5.6 million ($6.02m) SBS Championship in Hawaii at the weekend was all class.

Just a year ago, Ogilvy won the season-opening PGA Tour tournament with time to smell the flowers along the way to a six-shot triumph. This time, the margin of victory was just one shot - but the manner of it was equally impressive.

Not so long ago, Ogilvy said that when he was playing at his best, he could compete with anyone - and that included the missing Woods, who, with his very presence through the years, has reduced the rest of the field to playing for second. Ernie Els even sought the help of a shrink to rid him of his Tiger-phobia. Not that it did him much good.

The earliest known shoes date from about 8000 to 7000 BCE and were found in Oregon, USA in 1938.[1] However, the materials used for making shoes (typically tanned leather) do not normally last for thousands of years, so shoes were probably in use long before this.
