Partizani will face Ethnikos of Cyprus in the first round. First game will be played in Cyprus on June 18th.

Ethnikos Achna (Greek: Εθνικός Άχνας) is a cypriot football club based in the village of Achna. The foundation date of the club was in 1968. The club's president is Präsident Kikis Philippou. Ethnikos Achnas plays in the Dasaki Stadium, with capacity of 4,000 seats.
Founded in 1968, the club was playing in Cypriot Second Division. For first time in 1983, the club promoted to the Cypriot First Division but relegated. Ethnikos promoted in the First Division again in 1986 and achieve to stay there for four seasons. After two years in the Second Division, in 1992, Ethnikos Achna promoted again into the first division and since then they stayed there and they have never relegated.
For first time in the club's history, the club participated in the Cyprus Cup final in 2002, where they were beaten by Anorthosis 0-1.

Coach Starova in an interview for "Sporti Shqiptar" said that even though they do not know anything about the opponent, Partizani will go through to the next round. He added that the tactics might change once the game starts, because that's when he will really know who Partizani is playing against.

Ishaka, Bakatola, Gjyla, Tafaj and Hamzai have all been added to the Partizani roster for the Intertoto CUP. Is not sure if Ishaka will play for Partizani next season or if he will return to his team Besa after the Intertoto Cup is over.

Ethnikos won 4-2. After Ethnikos scored 4 goals, Partizani woke up and scored two goals with youngster Elis Bakaj and defender Arjan Sheta, who gave Partizani hope for qualification to the second round.

Sapuric: Partizani favorites
Even though the first match ended 4-2 for the cypriots, their coach Tosha Sapuric sees Partizani as favorites to advance. "I think Partizani are favorites to pass the round even though we won the first game. In Cyprus Partizani underestimated us and we scored 4 times, but then they started concentrating and scored quickly twice, even though one was disallowed" declared Sapuric. He adds that his comments are reality and not just tactics to win the match.
