First Anniversary of the Enclave

Remembering the week that was, I didn't work on that particular day. I was chatting as usual at home when I saw his message about wishing happy holidays. For some reason, I kept my cool and gave him an immediate response. In the back of my mind, I just kept having a strange feeling. I couldn't put my finger on it, but eventually the shock around the baseball world was heard, although I am not a native New Englander.

Fast forwarding to the invitation; it was great to join a board where we were free to be ourselves. Many of us have grown away from the pain and the shock of it all, and we have rolled with the punches, which have been the good, bad, the funny, and the ugly. We have offered one another support for non-Johnny issues, which has kept us going through the rough storm that we were dealing with at that moment. Although I wasn't able to enjoy the festivities, we did get together and have one hell of a time in August.

So, as the adventures of Johnny doesn't cease, let us continue to enjoy our time here. Thanks to all of you for making me feel welcome and appreciated. I lift up my glass of a pina colada smoothie to all of you. Smile

So GOOD....but so heartwrenching.

I remember that thread Mellie.....I wonder if he ever knew how some cared so much.

It was someone's job to see that he found that out. I have doubts he ever did.

it is painful to remember a year ago
the first thing i did was take the life size johnny off my wall
and stuff him under my mattress!
i remember i wanted to rip it to shreds,
but i didn't, thinking, maybe this is all a nitemare, and i'll wake up soon Rolling Eyes

hey ... my lifesize Johnny is safely stored away ... in the laundry room ! jebus, he went places with me ... member ? I had pics of him in my car ... and at some parties ... we even had a party in his honor !!!
