The Idiot Enclave was started December 22, 2005 and is a forum for Johnny Damon's most devoted fans who left his Official Web Site after he signed with the yankees. We needed a place of our own to escape the taunting of those so-called fans so we could basically lick our wounds in private for awhile.

On top of that, we had become friends, and didn't want to lose our friendships and connection with each other, which is Johnny. We understand each other here in a way that others in our lives cannot possibly relate to and we're so grateful to have each other and we're grateful to Johnny for getting us together. I made the Enclave for us as a transitional place to get past our pain. Well, at this point that I am editing this, we are nearly 6 months here -- I never would have thought that we would still be coming here daily, but we do -- and we have a ball - just like we used to on his Official site... back in the old days...

Johnny used to occasionally show up over there and say "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Valentines Day".... you are welcome to do the same here, sweet. We are still here for you and I suspect always will be, the way its looking right now.

We have 18 original members and.... 18 is a nice number, so we're likely not taking any more members... ('cept YOU, JD... )

If you're a big Johnny fan who still wishes he were with the Red Sox, then feel free to PM me. Let us know if you are still a Johnny fan and a Red Sox fan ~ we've heard all about the haters - and we don't need to hear more ~ we all know you were hurt, believe me no one knows like we do.

If you're Johnny - come on in, love, take off your cleats and relax. You would LOVE it in here. 'Cause here - you're king. There's always a nice fat filet on the grill here for you..

Don't be offended that we're not open to everyone - its meant to be a small, exclusive community with one object in mind.
