|
|
As this was a "spare" date which was not going to be included in any leaque results it was decided to make this competition a bit different, A few new ideas were tried such as re-entry in another class, Obscured and awkward positions more than the usual ten targets ect, Which included a five shot paper target at approx. six yards.
This meant that you had to re-fill and watch the number of shots fired, My thanks go to Colin, Andy, Vic, Mike in their help in setting up the course.
Maximum score,(Not as I said Colin), was 400.
A few "tweeks" will be needed if we allow re-entry such as the completion and handing in the card for that section before starting to shoot the next section.
The standing and unsuporting position was "Thrown out" for the day allowing the competitor to adopt any position they wished.
Special mention should be made of the fact that Dave Lilly was using his HW45 Springun and Mike Carney was using his HW40, Both in the open sights section, Lovely grouping on the paper target Mike!,

Good fun day, but apologies to Colin for stuffing his competition today, can't help but think that's what won me the red dot.
The open sights were not as successful as I planned and I consider myself lucky for getting third. More practice needed I think.
Thanks all |

I look like I've been run over by a steamroller
Now I know what the ninja turtle comment was about.

If you intend to have a shoot "Double handed on one leg", How do you intend to pull the trigger?.
