Next month (MARCH) will see a few changes to the RHFT.
The GOLDEN BUNNY will be a harder trophy to win, it will be made a more difficult shot than has been so far, if it is not been knocked down during a comp- then it will be carried on to the next month.
hopefully making it a more sought after trophy.
the current set up of two targets per firing point, will stay, as will the rested element.
however the rule of not adjusting your scope during the comp- will change. the shooter can (before adopting a shooting position) guesstimate the ranges of the two targets and set their scope accordingly, but only once for each pair of targets, once the shooter has put their eye to the scope than the setting stays as is, until the next pair of targets.
i am thinking of allowing competitors to "walk the course" before the comp- starts, but no guns or range finders allowed, and no wandering over the firing/safety line to measure distances, a pair of bino's or ordinary telescope can be used to view targets.
the "walk the course" idea hasn't yet been finalised, id welcome some feed back on that.
