Hi all, I thought I would post the links to the Round 1 team and individual scores, just to show what a great effort was put in by LV shooters doing their best. As you can see, team scores were very close!
Does it matter if we win a piece of plastic for top team - NO.
Does it matter if we all enjoy ourselves, do our best on the day for OUR club - YES!
However, there is always room for improvement - yesterday some regular HFTers took part in an informal 10/10/10 (prone/kneel/stand - about 50% unsupported) comp on range 1 using only 15-35mm reducers out to 50+ yards.
I can assure you that any faults in your technique will become apparent and you will know where to work on building up your weak points. I missed one or two prones (careless?) but nailed a couple of seemingly impossible standers! Luck, judgement? Anyway it was very thought-provoking.
If you feel like taking part in an "SAS -Are you tough enough" style practice, we could do another one on the next free afternoon (after next pistol HFT, say)
