|

Sean,
I sent you a pm. on this subject the other day, However if you did not receive it I will re-iterate what I said.
I know you asked us when you started to qualify for the final results, At the time I remember telling you that you would be able to complete eight rounds,(Qualifing period), if you shot all the remaining competitions, At the time I was not aware that you had shot Round 3 in the Scope section, and, as you have shot the rest in Red-Dot, (seven), these are the ones that count, I am sorry if this has caused you to loose out on the final results, The rules are that you shoot all the qualifing rounds in the same section, This is why we are going back to the two times six monthly competitions, so that people can change sections in a shorter period.
Incidentely, if there are not enough competitors in each section then we will use the scores from competitors who have shot seven and so on to get the positions we require.

Well I can't say I'm not disappointed having driven 200 miles for every pistol comp I did. Can you say when it was that I became a member as my membership is due on 1st March I assumed it was February and that would be included and that would mean that I have done the 8.
However congratulations to the winners, watch out, me and Colin will be back next year.
p.s. I've only just noticed the pms

Sean,
As far as our records go you joined sometime in March, The membership secretary decided to round up or down to the first of the month, We don't have these records.
Yes you shot Red Dot in the February competition but you were not noted as a member, If any one has records which will clarify this position please let me Know.
Dave and Alison.
ps.
By all means,(Legal) give every one a run for their trophy. |
