FT - GP9, Sywell, 17 August

As last year, the final round of the GP series wil be held at Sywell.

Anbody with a BFTA card may enter. Anybody without a BFTA card may enter the Sporting section. Bookings can be made via the BFTA website.

GPs are awarded by the BFTA to a region, not to a specific club. The region - in this case our region, the FFTA - then awards the GP to a club. Any profit made goes to the region, not the club, and generally subsidises the Winter League and the free BFTA cards most of us have. This will be the third year straight Sywell have held the event on behalf of FFTA.

Volunteers are needed to give help both on the Saturday (for setting up) and particularly on the Sunday (for marshalling). If you are able/willing to help, get in touch with me and I'll put you in touch with Steve Sharpe, FFTA chairman.

Have just been warned that bookings are open for GP9, and the event is fast filling up (perhaps because its the last of the season).

The morning session in paricular has 69 out of 75 places booked, so if you want to go book now.
