I have a Panansonic VDR D250 that I am connecting to my PC via USB 2.0 cable. the PC recognises the DV camera, but MovieMaker 6 says 'Import Video could not find a compatible digital video device'. What am I doing wrong? Is it missing software? Any help GREATLY appreciated Smile

The best way to do this is to finalise the disc in the cam.
Pop it into your dvd drive on the pc.
Copy the files to your hard drive
Import from their.
