Hi all. Using Ulead VS11, the time/date stamp embedded in my mpeg files shows up in the editing and finished product. Looking to find an answer on how to get around this with previously shot footage. I know the reason for this happening, its because I did not turn off the subtitle (time/date) feature on my Sony camcorder. I have since done this, but I still have the issue to deal with on old footage. Someone suggested that opening and saving my old mpegs in another video editing package and then again using Ulead to edit will bypass this, but I tried to do this with WMM and Pinnacle and when I try to import to Ulead it gives me a file mismatch error. I cant seem to get WMM or Pinnacle to save in an mpeg format. They give the files extensions like .ple (Pinnacle) or .wmv (I think) for WMM. Any ideas? Any fixes I can do within Ulead? This is really a pain when you're trying to make a nice looking video! Mad

.ple is probably the project file, so I suspect you also end up with mswmm file from movie maker which will be the project file again.

You need to save "the movie", and the best option is to save as dv.avi.
