Sound ok on Moviemaker2 preview, out of sync on DVD.

Why? cut the scene, redragged it to the storyline...
sounds fine in preview. Burn it to DVD
sounds like "munchkins". Anybody have this problem?

What file types are you using?
What programme are you using to authro the dvd?
What programme are you using to burn the dvd?
What settings have you chosen for authoring the dvd? In particular the audio?
Have you checked to see if the dvd you are using is compatible with your dvd player?

1 What file types are you using? - Sony camcorder tape video

What programme are you using to authro the dvd? Moviemaker 2

What programme are you using to burn the dvd? - Roxio creator-8

What settings have you chosen for authoring the dvd? In particular the audio? - Just the settings in Moviemaker2

Have you checked to see if
7 other video tapes that I have edited, (added music and titles)
and burned onto DVD have come out fine.
So it seems to be just those 2 scenes.
Could a bit of music during the title just before the scene, have anything to do with it?
If it is happening because of "dropped frames during the converting process, what can I do about that?
Thanks

What programme are you using to authro the dvd? Moviemaker 2 Movie maker 2 does not have dvd authoring capabilities? Are you editing in MM2 and tehn outputting a file which you take into Roxio which does have authoring built in? If so, what type of file do you output?

You say your file types have come from a sony camcorder, so where has the music come from? What file type is this?
If it is happening because of "dropped frames during the converting process, what can I do about that? It is most unlikley you'll suffer dropped frames during converting as this process can go at whatever speed the computer can work at, so if it is busy doing other things it might take 6 hours, whereas if it isn't doing anything at all then it may take 2 hours. Thanks

Just let computer convert and burn one hour to 1/2 hr. video while I do other things, never do other things on computer when it is converting/burning.
Because I have the Roxio creator8 in my computer, the Moviemaker2 automatically open that when I click on "create video" after it has "saving your video for burning to a DVD".

HI SKIER
MY COMPUTER HAS WINDOW XP.

As I said the rest of the edited video sounds normal. It is just the 2 opening scenes that sound too fast, like munchkins.
I want people to hear what is being said on the video, so it is frustrating.

What cld cause this problem???
as I said, I cut the scenes, redragged them to the MM2 storyline, and they sounded normal in preview. thank you
