This is my problem in a nut shell. I get this error when I use elements 4 to import my video. Dazzle DVC100 video device- still image incorrect STI driver detected for the current video capture device, please re-install drive. I am using a Pinnacle Dazzle DVC100 to import my videos from my Sony camcorder Hi8.

I think I have to disable or remove Windows drive so it will use Pinnacles drive and if so what is the name of the file to remove? And if I do will it then make something else not work?

By elements 4 do you mean premiere elements 4? If so, I believe the dazzle device really needs to work with pinnacle software, try it and see if it works properly.
