I have 3 DV tapes for a project. The audio is missing from one of the tapes when captured using Windows Movie maker. I have tried the same tapes using same camcorder and same Firewire cable on a Mac and all were OK.

Any suggestions why one tape has problems on my PC system?

Some versions of movie mkaer worked best with 12 bit audio, it is most likely you changed your audio to 16 bit on thatone tape.
