Bellestarrr back. I made movie with a collection of flower photos in photostory 3, imported that wma/v file into movie maker..added transitions and saved as ntsc dvd(avi) file. I then wanted to encode it to a burnable vob file with the audio ts and video ts complete folders. I used avi2dvd and got a vob file(no folders) I used anyvideoconverter and got same thing. I used purchased version of cucusoft and got both folders but the video ts folder missing the ifo file. the error message i get when i try to play the burned dvd on a computer is dvd directory missing(ifo file??) and it wont play at all on stand alone set top. I have successfully burned complete folders b4 and dont know what the problem is, but have wasted too many hours experimenting(not to mention dvd's).What is preventing the vts_X_X.ifo file from being created???Please help _________________ IM STILL BIG..IT'S THE PICTURES THAT GOT SMALL |

I've never used the apps you are trying so don't know what's happening with them.
When you author a dvd you take your wmv file, it gets converted to an mpeg2, wrapped into a vob ffile then the authoring app makes the video_ts folders which include the ifo files etc.
If these files aren't being made then there is a problem with your dvd authoring software.
A friend of mine uses dvd flick which is free

Be sure to read the Guide:

I use a professional app. _________________ Working far too hard to keep you lot happy to be worrying about when to have the next party

Thanks Skierhughes...I finally did get it done..seems like when i burned it with nero express 6.0...nero added the Ifo files and dvd played perfect in standalone. Did download DVDFlick and will try it out...thanks for your help..appreciate it. What is a good professional application that doesnt cost and arm and a leg. I though Cucusoft was good but not really. _________________ IM STILL BIG..IT'S THE PICTURES THAT GOT SMALL |
