It seems my websites have got a little out of control .... It only started off as one of them (the message board).I was then talked into doing a Roger (fansite/website). Im now in the middle of completing 2 Queen sites (technically only one site,but the other site is an off shoot of it)...

Why did I start them ??

I'm starting to wonder the same thing about my sites. Still doing the update on MSN Queen News and working on QNN Darkness as well. When I finish those I plan to do sites on individual band members (starting with Brian of course

Great sites! My only recommendation is to get yourself off tripod! Otherwise, some nice pages there with great info!

Any recommendations as to good hosts ? Ive tried Bravehost and just cant get on with it ..... and Im too tight to buy anything.

Yeah, I'm having that problem as well. I've eventually decided to stik to MSN sites- basic. but they do what I want. I'm hoping to get a Google website soon, but there appears to be a queue (you also have to have Gmail to get these).

Actually, you got me there...there's no real good free hosts for websites.

There's good hosters for forums alright..like this mine and this one (bar the long URLs) but I've yeat to come accross a satisfactory website hoster. I've been on MSN, freewebs etc. but they're all pretty QUEEN ROCKS IMO. I suppose if you want a serious site you gotta pay the money unfortunately.
Tripod and Geocities are my leats favourite in fact. Razz

I like the sites where you're able to use HTML as well, instead of just a WYSIWYG generator.

I'll try and do a bit of research next week and see if I can find some free hosters.

In the meantine, http://www.freewebs.com isn't TOO bad. It's in no way proffessional, but it's QUEEN ROCK easy to use

My TenementFunster site is on Freewebs ...... It Ok ..It just hadnt got what I need for the other sites.

Update as regards free websites....
I'm using googlepages now and find that tehy're pretty good for anyone who doesn't want to use html. There's plenty of storage space and you can easily link to various google tools. You need a google e-mail account first, but these are now freeily available and easch account currently gives you up to 3 wesbites.
