Hi all,
Great start to the hol with the plane landing heavily onto the runway then black smoke pouring out from the under carrage/wheels area. I was watching all this from my window seat. The next thing I saw was the airport fire brigade turning out & the firemen stood there with there hoses ready. It must not have been much as there was no panic and we all left the plane as usual in an orderly fasion! No rain was seen at all just a few mixed cloud/sunny days and some very sunny days. There was a very strong wind on days 4 & 5 but still warm and pleasent. Roll on next May.

Better to lose the tyres than have an unwanted and unexpected swim!!
