Anyone know when the builders merchants, supermarkets etc close for xmas and for how long. Need to get some blocks and some supplies in when we get there, especially the Stella and the wine.
Cheers

| I'd have thought that the builders would remain open as I'd imagine most of the building work goes on during the winter. Just guessing though. |

I have been told that most of the supermarkets outside of town are open. The big one on the ring round is deffo open. The most important purchase when you arrive should be the wine and wife beater (Stella)

Cheers Claire - First thing on shopping list is the wine, can live without the turkey but not that.
Can't wait too meet up with you, getting excited now, finish work next Friday, going too see my daughter and grandson,(no doubt a few tears will be shed), on Sat/Sun, then all systems go.
See you soon

About a fortnight before Xmas day, Christos, the butcher in Asteras supermarket builds up a book of Christmas orders. You can order your turkey from him.
