Hiya to the real Foxy

I believe your team get some financial benefit from my lovely Mr Rooney for last nights success - what's this about Moyes taking over from Sir Alex who's hanging up his managers boots and Mr Abramovitch should get on his yacht sail down to Skiathos again ready for me getting there in 15 days time Very Happy we could have a great celebration party on there.

Can someone explain where Maria's Pizza has moved to exactly. Although I know Skiathos Town pretty well, I am not sure where Varsakis gallery is that you mention it is close too.

i v never eaten there, but my sister and her family told me, they had to wait for a long time for a table, then far to long for the order and finally when the food started coming it were in internals so one either had to start while the others watched, or wait and eat it cold.she told me the food were good(they had spaghetti and pizzas).
then the price were very high.
she also mentioned that en-plo and medusa were by far better in all of the above with the plus of the sea view and cool breeze.
(medusas pizzas are done in a natural wood burning furnace and the taste is of wood).
i cant imagine one not to realize these so i consider the trend a nice advert, done in a smart way........

I have never been to Marias either, but the Medusa is very good, and in the summer you have the waterside view too.

Mike has given you the right info, and its in the church square next to Gallerie Varsarkis. Marias has moved less than 50 metres ...

We go to Marias every year, yes it is a long wait, especially if you are with a large group of friends but this I think is just because of the small location - now that they have moved I am sure that the waiting time will improve.

4 more days till Athens - 7 more days till Skiathos Smile

Marias is fantastic.

If it wasn't any good, it wouldnt be so blinking popular.

Good things come to those that wait!.......

..hand written menu's, pleasantly decorated, excellent food, cracking staff Smile

Everybody has their own favourite accommodation, bars, clubs, restaurants, tavernas etc.......not evryone has the same tastes or we'd all be very boring. The beauty of Skiathos is that it has so much variety to cater for all, so everyone is happy. Smile
There is only one place so far where I have not enjoyed a meal in Skiathos and even gave it a second chance last week, still bad!! but other people may think it's great....personal choice Cool
