Evening all peoples.

The season is now into full swing and Olympic are keeping me nice and busy.Last Friday (May 23) I had 191 arrivals so now I have around 250 people in resort,it got a bit too much so now sadly I have lost the Alkyon (close to my heart) and the Elsa studios.

Bookings at the Perigialli are good and steady so Claire is running around all over the place.If anyone is out on Friday on the Monarch 1548 then you may see her at the airport meeting some guests.

Sophia has settled well into kindergarten and after a few tearfull days (Sophia and Claire) she seems to be enjoying it.She also now sings funny little songs that she has picked up but sings them in a half English,half Greek twang that is a bit odd!

Weatherwise the sun has definately got it's hat on,I am sitting here typing this at 11 o'clock at night sitting outside while Claire is reading her book sipping wine.

Claire's step-dad has got a job with Hertz car hire and her mum is cleaning the studios at the Xanthi studios in Kolios so they are busy also.The fact that the in-law is working at one of my properties is a bit strange.I am also doing a quiz night at the Xanthi on a Tues night that is proving very popular and as the Demitris is very close I get many people from there as well.Uncle Micheal is now gainfully employed by Jimmys bar (again) giving out flyers on Pap Street.

I bumped into Mrs Whicker at the Alky a couple of weeks ago and also saw Educator last Fri at his accom although I doubt if I wiil see him again due to work and stuff.

We still pop into town now and again on our scooter but now the boys in blue are getting very hot on crash helmets and small chidren on scooters we may have to actually walk to town!!
The car is running well but every time I clean it we have a night-time shower that is full of dirt and s**t so at the moment it looks a disgrace.It is good fun though when people try to flag me down thinking I am a taxi,it will be an endless source of amusement for me.

My mum and step-dad are coming out in September and are staying at the Koukias in Troulos.I know the owner really well and he is a nice guy so it is funny to read all the postings about him on this forum.His son-in-law is a long standing friend of mine,he owns the petrol station opp the Edem taverna in Megali Ammos.They also have an old fin-tailed Merc out the back that I am trying to get my hands on.I also have my eye on an old 1952 BMW bike dumped around the back of the bar street area so maybe next year I could be driving to my visits in this.

Great to hear you are all settling in well Darrell. There you are sitting outside, here we are sitting inside with the central heating on. We arrive in 4 weeks time 27th June on the Manchester Monarch flight, maybe bump into you sometime.
