Hi all

Anyone fancy a July get together?

The June Boomerangers night at Taverna Varelli seemed to go really well, so let's do it again.

The date would be Monday 14 July, the time 7.30 pm, and the place would be Taverna Varelli in Troulos, bus stop 18.

The taverna is on the "Y" junction in Troulos where the Asselinos road forks off from the Skiathos/Koukounaries road. The taverna is on the right if you come from Skiathos town, on the left if you come from Koukounaries (obviously!).

This is my favourite taverna in Troulos so I'll be there, on table 15, no matter what!

Table 15 takes 4 people. If more of us get there, then Yiorgos and Rosemary will undoubtedly find more tables to put out!

If you'd like to come along then please reply to this post, PM me, or just turn up on the night!

Will try and make it Guy, in Skiathos 4th to 18th staying at the apollo in Achladies, tenth time on the trot this year..guess we are getting to like it! Laughing

Got the suitcases out.. Tickets have arrived. Flying from Manchester 9th July and staying at Milos appts. near the airport. Hope to meet fellow boomerangers on the 14th . My husband (Colin) and me (Elaine) will be making our 11th visit to Skiathos. Can`t come quick enough.

we were going to be there!! but on that day, i picked up some sort of tummy bug. Embarassed

i felt so bad for poor BB who i know was really looking forward to it as well. i spent that evening and much of the following day drinking bottled water and didnt dare eat due to trying to make myself well for the wednesday flight home. still suffering even now! typical to lose nearly 2 days when all we had was a week. Mad

poor BB deserves a medal for staying in the hotel and not complaining!! I had felt fine all day, then by about 4 o'clock the pain kicked in! Crying or Very sad

i dont think it was too much sun, always pretty sensible about taking that bit easy. did anyone else hear about any bugs going round?

We too are going tomorrow,on the afternoon flight from Manchester.

On arrival sling the cases in the apartment then oft to Green Park in Aghia Pareskevi for a great meal washed down with that Rose wine out of the barrel
