Hi anyone else seen the film yet?, we went last and thought it was Brilliant, great music and great scenery ,of course, but still felt strange to see Mr Brosnon singing but it was a really happy Film, they really must have enjoyed themselves making the film, for me one of the best scenes was the start seeing Tsougria island in the opening scene ,and thinking only 2 weeks ago we were on that beach, still if you get the chance do go and see the film, I may go again to see it, possibly in Mid Dec/Jan when feeling depressed with our winter and want cheering up, mind you tnat could apply to July !!!

Hi Philipos
I grabbed Mrjet and dragged him along to the cinema yesterday afternoon.
It was fabulous. I am still humming the tunes.
His words - he would receommend everyone to go and see it - it was just such wonderful fun.
Roll on the DVD - and in them meantime I might go again with my chums.

Thank you for sharing your joy of seeing the film..........seems like you really enjoyed it
I've not seen it yet and whilst I like to share things too, I like to do it once a fair few may have an opinion.
I know that some may want to share, but perhaps a little curbing of enthusiasm wouldn't go wrong here!!! After all, everyone has been so looking forward to the film.
Don't you just hate getting"drip-fed" info on a Film, TV programme etc. Sometimes all the good bits have been disclosed and you're left with no surprises when you come round to view.
There is no intention to offend here, so I hope there's none taken. It's only a little "caveat" from me on one of my favourite "hates". _________________ Cheers,

We went to see it yesterday and I found it really enjoyable. It's one of those films you come out of feeling more cheerful. Meryl Streep should win an oscar for her performance. Piers Brosnan - well, I'm not sure about his singing If you like Abba, you'll love it. |

We went yeaterday and I want to go again. I just loved it. Its definately a feel good film and when the dvd comes out it will be another one to add to my pre greek holiday films to watch along with Shirley Valentine, captain corelli's mandolin & mediterraneo. In all these films its the setting that steals the show, WONDERFUL |

We just got back from seeing it tonight - all I can say is it was fantastic. Came out feeling on a real high and now can't stop singing. We were there last August when they were filming in town. I defy anyone not to enjoy this film, I don't normally buy DVD's but I will be buying this one. I might even have to go and see it again it was so good.... _________________ Ooh ... can't wait to feel the sand in my toes |

I think your right Mrs Whicker..... think i just might, have been toying with the idea for a while but were staying in A.Peraskevi and i thought i maybe rather hot by the time i arrive been trying to find a wedding car for ages but there does'nt seem to be much on the island in the way of wedding cars. The taxi's are fine as most of them are Mercs but it's that big "TAXI" sign on the top that puts me off l.o.l |

We have literally just come in the door from seeing it at the local flicks. I was sceptical, but I loved it, I can't remember the last time I saw a film that was such FUN.
No spoilers, but that bit right at the end, I was laughing so hard, there were tears running down my face. It's been long time since that has happened. _________________ Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |

Such a FUN film... Took mum-in-law and our 14yr old with us yesterday, and we all laughed, cried, cheered, clapped and sang along....
Can't wait to go again..... Just to see the end bit - we were all singing & rolling in the aisles _________________ Member of the "I got married in Skiathos" club |
