Hi All,
So we know next time, we visited this beach this year and walked over a little bridge to get on to it.
We were impressed with the beach but not that impressed with the choice of food at lunchtime by the beach bars.
We did not know how to get to the village from the beach as the beach is so long. The question I am asking is....... If you were on the beach, about in the middle, looking inland where would you go to find some tavernas for lunch or to find the village ?
Thanks Gary _________________ Greece is the word ! |

Hi Gary, in betweeen the beach and the village is Lake Strofilia with no crossing place in the middle so you can only access the road from either end of Koukounaries beach.
On the left looking inland is the bus terminus with the nearest taverna being The Village, then from the right hand side of the beach via the small bridge then through the field you will find yourselves opposite the 1st supermarket and a variety of tavernas to choose from |
