Well, i was wondering. My daughter is coming up 17 and likes a nice cold beer like the rest of us. Being a big Mythos fan myself, don't want to break any rules with her on holiday. Going next friday!!!!. Sooooo excited. _________________ Yorkshire Pudding |

Seems she'll be ok then?. Its her first time to Skiathos, but my second. I keep telling her how beautiful the island is and how much she will love it. I'm kind of hoping she meets some other teenagers, as i know how kids get a bit grumpy hanging out with parents all the time. _________________ Yorkshire Pudding |

| Know what you mean! My eldest didn't come this year bacause of that. He gets a bit grumpy in the heat and none of his friends to talk to, it's all about mates when they're that age. |

There seems to be lots of signs in the front windows of the Taverna's with 17 written in them, so I think that is the legal age for buying drinks. No one seems to ask anyones age unless they look very young or are very drunk.

Thanks. She is very sensible, and enjoys a nice cold beer like the rest of us. Just need to find that group of friendly teenagers now to stop her getting bored of us. I mean......parents are sooooo not funny and totally embarassing!!! _________________ Yorkshire Pudding |

| Where are you staying, as we fly out this Wednesday, and our daughter is almost 15. Maybe a bit on company? |

Yorkshire Pudding. The legal age is 18 but only the bars run by English people may question it. My daughters been coming out with us for several years and always got served, even at 16. Last year she was 17 and discovered Club Row so I dont think your daughter will get bored. She came with us and took a friend (which is the best option) and they had a great time so much so that she returned this year - there were eight 18-year olds! and they had a brilliant time. There is lots for young people to do, mostly in Skiathos Town. But if your not staying in town the taxis are very cheap late at night along to the south coast resorts. _________________ www.ClearSpray.co.uk |

Thank you Diamond. I will look out for Club Row. Looking forward to the holiday so much, just a bit concerned now about the baggage handlers strike planned for the day we fly back home (fri 29th). Better to be delayed in Skiathos than Gatwick i suppose! _________________ Yorkshire Pudding |
