Why do you want an English restaurant?
I'm sure that, at almost any restaurant/taverna/cafeteria, you will be able to find something to suit your 8 year old.
The Greeks love children and at many/most places, they will even provide something which, although not on the menu, will satisfy the little chappie.
Remember, to the eatery, a happy customer is a repeat customer.
