So, the taverna list got pruned?

Not surprised, to be honest.

It would have been commercialy sensitive and, on the basis of comments from a few people on this BB, could crash the businesses of people working hard to make a living.

Guy

To clarify, The topic was autopruned by the Phpbb system, along with hundreds of others as the auto feature was accidentally enabled on the forum.
It was the most popular topic by posts in the Skiathos BB forum last year. For info we only posted on the list your own personal favourite tavernas as the members recomended them.

Hello Ian

Thanks.

That would avoid the commercial sensitivity question.

Only posting positive recommendations is always a good idea.

BTW, why doesn't the time on the BB equal our local time here in the UK?

GMT + 2 (Greek time) would be great, and sort of fitting.

The BB time is a technical thing, yes?

Probably because we need a software upgrade and resynch of the forums. The latest available version is phpBB 2.0.22. We are running phpBB 2.0.20.

Will wait until Geof is back as he knows where the software is hosted ...

It says at the bottom, "All times are GMT + 1 hour" for me that would mean "now" is 21:40 or thereabouts, (it is 22:40 here but I am GMT + 2 here).

Hmm, spot on within reasonable bounds!

Have a look at the timezone setting in your profile.
