The Skiathos Bulletin Board

Hello All
I was given this sites details by one of your regulars via another board and am delighted i found it!

Myself, my husband and my little baby girl are off to Skiathos for the first time in mid June for a couple of weeks. We are staying at Villa Bouganvillea in Sklithri and can't wait.

Any hints and tips of where to go with a 1 year old would be great. We will be renting a car because i don't fancy piling onto a bus with the buggy...

Our last holiday in Greece was a couple of years ago and we were totally spoilt by a relative who lent us his villa in Alonissos Old Town. We would have gone back again this time but we never stay in the same place twice so thought Skiathos the ideal place to enjoy and then take the boat to visit Aonissos if the mood takes us.

I have had a look at loads of the photos on your site and am sooo excited by all the stunning beaches Very Happy

Less than 3 weeks to go and counting!

Hi Fin, I can't give you any tips unfortunately because this will be my first time on Skiathos too.
These guys do a fantastic job though, there are loads of tips and recommendations on the board Smile

You will have been and come back before we go so you will have to come back and share your own tips and pics Smile

This site is great.
I don't normally go onto forums but I get the feeling this is a pretty special one!
I'm just getting my car sorted via Victoria Cars as suggested. The prices look good - didn't realise they were on Euros so even better!

My sister in law and family are over from Bolivia next year and I am hoping that they will end up in the family Summer home in Alonissos. That way if Skiathos ticks all the boxes that it looks to be ticking, we can go to Skiathos again next year and then pop over to Alonissos to visit for a few days!
