Since this question comes up about once a week, I thought I'd sticky it!
The "official" webcam.

You may need to install a component to get it to run. I find it easier to get/view with FireFox as opposed to Internet Explorer.
The Windmill Restaurant also has a webcam, you can view it here.

I couldn't see a link to the main site anywhere either, so here it is.

Go with Firefox for viewing and camera control.
You will need to install Activex on your PC to use the camera photo option in Internet explorer. _________________

Is Firefox something we need to download as well as Active X? I have never been able to access it. _________________ [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

Hi, we go to Skiathos in May & plan to stand on the terrace where the webcam is located and wave to the family back home after texting them to log on. Trouble is whilst we are familier with the town, we don't know where it is? Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Neil & Sue |

| Since changing my computer and operating syatem from Windows XP Pro to Vista Premium, I cannot access the Skiathos Town webcam. Does anyone have a solution or is the webcam just not compatible with Vista? |

Browser settings or the security/firewall module? Could also be the application that displays the pictures, (AXIS), is not "Vista Ready", a lot of things aren't. I am in no rush to move to Vista.
Have you tried through FireFox? _________________ Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |

Nothing seems Vista ready
One of the lads in work has just bought his own laptop & none of the programmes we use on a daily basis seem to work with it! |

| Thanks guys, have just downloaded and installed Mozilla firefox and everything works ok. Vista seems to be causing lots of problems while software is catching up. |

I always look at the webcam through the above link - the webcam link appears to have gone? _________________ you heard it here first - BOJAN! |

I just hope we haven't lost the web cam for ever. Was so much fun logging in every day to take a peek, especially in the winter. _________________ Roll on 2009! |
