hello everyone,
as you can read , this was our first Skiathos experiance. (with a lot of greek stays i the past)
We stayed at hotel Magic in Aghia Pareskevi, witch i can highly recommend. There are only 35 rooms, beautifull owners, friendly, nothing is to much, good pool. Just next to the suppermarket they have a restaurant/bar ,called Platanias, ... verry good food and drinks, good atmosphere. Wish i could return right now. |

| Glad you enjoyed it. Only been in the Platanias taverna once but you're right...it does have a nice atmosphere. |

Hi danita was Monica still serving at the Platanias bar ,  . She has been there a while (she does the books for the Magic and lives on Skiathos fulltime) It used to be our last stop at night when staying in Agia Paraskevi. |

She was serving there last year, don't know how she remembers what everybody is drinking as she always seems to know what your next round is before you order it! We always stay in Ag P & usually call in for a nightcap on our way back if it's not too late of course, not that we stay out late, drinking or anything! (believe that & you'll believe anything!!)

Hi Orley
Went to have a look at the Magic a couple of weeks ago as someone was staying in one of the Exec Suites, wow, whirlpool bath, two bathrooms, four poster bed, tv, vid, cd, remote controlled air con, robes, lounge - every comfort and tastefully done, then I went back to my room with just my own little kettle and electric fan, pah! |

| Cheers MrsWhicker, that sounds great, we're not staying in an executive but a suite as the family are going but it sounds fantastic, in all te years we've been holidaying I don't think we've stayed anywhere with such good reviews, I've not seen a bad report!! Oooooh I'm so excited!!!! |
