hi maureen, i am so sorry !!i thought (toe posts ) were high heels, so am i to assume that "toe posts are mules where the thong goes in between your toes ???

That's right Patsy they are more comfortable than they look. I bought a lovely new pair this year, sparkly and different colours that went with most things. Cost a fair bit though, buy hey they were for my holidays!

hi maureen, good for you, I ,have one pair, black and tan leather,bought in tenerife,but cant drive in them. bet yours look real glamerous.

Brown actually Foxy, my little luxury getting my nails done, had them done again yesterday. Well I don't drink, don't smoke............ quite boring actually as I'm sure you will agree Foxy, mind you I got on well with your mother in law, she's lovely. Laughing

We came back recently, and were over on our baggage, They must have liked me (or felt sorry for me) as we did not get charged any extra !!

On the way out from Manchester, one of our cases weighed 26kg and the others were borderline but we only had one hand luggage so we were okay. We were dreading coming back because of the charges but luckily they never said anything to us. Next year I'm going to make sure I take less clothes as I never used at least half of them.

Lucky you Jane, mine was 4kgs over and I was charged 30 euros.

Its a bit odd how they are charging some people and not others - how does that work? (Just thinking what I could have bought in Duty Free with the 30 euros!!).

I managed a whopping 27.8kg for my case this year coming home. I suspect that overall we were probably within the 80kg we were allowed but as my bag went on first I'm surprised nothing was said. All the wine and olive oil weighs alot!

Also we left 45 minutes later than scheduled but did not need to refuel as the weather conditions and a larger plane allowed us a direct flight home. Arrived half an hour earlier than scheduled!

Skidsy did you come back last Wednesday (15/8/07) to Manchester 'cause we did and our flight was as you described.
