Hi Eleanore, the Xenia is still standing but only just.
It has been completely trashed, don't know why it hasn't been demolished and rebuilt. |

| Who built the Xenia and when and who owned it.Why did it fall into such dis-repair.I heard it was owned by Takis Dervinis the original owner of the Palace and Princess. |

Thanks Kriandos.. I know it still stands.. we've walked through it, over broken glass and past old mattresses - a bit like something from an old horror flick!
I'm just curious as to why it's the way it is... what happened!! I too had heard that it was owned by Takis, who built the Princess and Palace, but never heard what happened to the place! Did it burn? What an amazing piece of real estate there, eh?? _________________ "If you want others to be happy, practice compassion.

Maybe we could all form a co-operative, chip in, restore it to it's former glories and run it.
It's been done before.

To clarify the above post to anyone not from the south Lancashire area, I`ll translate.
You are right Kriandos, you are in for it now, old chap.
You had better be on the look out as you may be struck on the back of your head by a stale Pimbletts (local bakers) pie. |
