Which is the best beach to snorkell off?
Lalaria looks good because it seems to be pebbles and I judging from the videos we've seen the water is very clear. Where else could we try?

| I'd imagine Aghia Paraskevi is pretty good as well because there's a rocky reef just offshore & the water shelves quite steeply close in. |

Hi,
Foxy is right. There is a rocky outcrop that separates Kolios bay and Plantanias bay (Aghia Paraskevi) and this continues out into the sea and provides a great area for fish to thrive. I have snorkelled there countless times and never tire of it as there always seems to be a large variety of fish to view, some of which are highly coloured and if you take some bread you are guaranteed an audience. I've also seen other visitors such as octopus, squid, and sea slugs.

Aselinos is quite good if you swim out on the left hand side of the beach and around the outcrop of rocks to a smaller bay. _________________ www.ClearSpray.co.uk |

Hi Lorna, I`ve found the beaches on the north coast the most interesting to snorkell from.
They tend to get less visitors, so there`s usually more to find, plus the coastline is more rugged, so more rocks, reefs etc to explore.
Having said that, if you`re a strong swimmer, the area around the point to the left of Troulos beach is also quite interesting, although it`s quite a distance from the main beach. |
