Has anyone visited or know of how Marialena is particularly since forest fires also any tips I am travelling with two children age 12 and 2 years? I have e mailed Thomson but have had no reply as yet. Thank you cate

The marielena is a fab place to stay. the pool is lovely and so are the owners and staff (watch them though as they will have you up till all hours!!)

Nothing is too much for them, their rooms are really spacious and clean and the bar food is fantatstic.

I'm sure they will look after you

I had thought of doing that but was worried didn't want to appear selfish worrying about my holiday as could well be their home? It does look very lovely though in brochure so fingers crossed we will have a good time Thank you Cate

Hi Cate

We live just along the road to Marialena & fortunately the fire stopped just behind it so your holiday will be fine. Fire trucks are still going up & down outside but just precautionary now. Enjoy yourself....
