Has anybody got any pictures of the infamous Skiathos Pearls that you see people collecting on Banana Beach?

Now these pearls I'd never heard of until seeing the things for themselves in Naxos last year!

They are pinkish and spiral shaped. The jewellers in Skiathos sell them made into trinkets. I'll be visiting my chums at Simos Jewellers next week and see if they know any more.

I too was searching for these along the beaches. If I remember rightly, it was Chelleb who posted a photograph, and seems to be the expert on it??? Am I right Mrs Povey?
