He's been around for years! He's actually moved now down the road onto the land by Maestrali taverna as the grass was in short supply in the last place! Were you staying in Ag Paraskevi & where? _________________ για μας; |

Hello yes we were staying the first two weeks of August at the Marialena Village, it was lovely we walked down that road many times a day to Kolios beach and the Iguana super market. I also paced backwards and forwards with our youngest at night time to try and get her to sleep!
I'm glad he's got more grass now we used to buy him apples from the supermarket he was always hungry or maybe donkeys just like apples I don't know!! The children really liked him I hope if we go back he's there. I think donkeys live a long time so there is a chance. Do you know his name? Thanks Cate _________________

I'm sure she'll be around Ag. P somewhere, I am racking my brain as only weeks ago I was discussing her with a friend & her name is on the tip of my tongue, I'll be lying awake now tonight! She is definately quite partial to the occasional carrot, however last time my other half threw her one she must have got a nasty bruise on the ( excuse the pun...) ass!!! If it comes back to me I will get back to you! _________________ για μας; |

| Cate,I love the pics of your daughter with the donkey,we have a 2 year old and had to stop and look at every single animal in the Kolios/Platanias area for a 2 whole weeks!.Also I fully understand the bit about walking around late at night trying to get them to go to sleep in the buggy,a favourite of Claire's was to walk around the Ostria grounds at about 10.30pm. |

We did same, every goat particularly when they were climbing the concrete unfinished building and were on top floor or perched on stairs, "the Donkey" who still remains nameless sadly, the nice white horse which was tethered in shade. The two mad little dogs who went bananas at moving car's tyres on dirt track road down to front. many characters!
Skiathos lovely place for children quite idyllic our oldest Jess who is back in school now is reminiscing regularly about just how ace it was and little Kirsten had a brilliant time.
Our only problem really was the flight 4 hours of crying Paul nearly turned grey and the look of horror when people recognized us getting on plane on way home you could see the look of please God don't let me be sitting near them in their eyes... Oh dear hopefully when she is 3 in April things will change for next time. It's funny though when people ask her did she like the plane she always says YES!??? _________________
