Hi All
Went to Abelakia today, and it was as beautiful as ever. It was relatively peaceful until about 3pm, and then it was invaded. We left at 6pm and it was still buzzing.
Dave and Chris went snorkelling and at the little cove at the end of the beach, there were nudists!!!!!
BTW, Nic counted the steps on the way down and there are 116 . . . . but I counted them on the way back up, and there were in fact 399!!!!!
Bye for now |

|
|
Went with Mr & Mrs Kriandos to visit Lefteris at his new taverna at Ambelekia. In fact went a couple of times.
Lefteris made us so welcome the first day we visited was like the old times on Banana!! He cooked us extra large plates of Calamari and white bait plus a large plateful of Greek Salad all washed down with several litres of falling down water. The second time he cooked me one of my all time special omelettes.
Just to digress what a shame that this taverna is not on Banana where it should be. When all the rules were changed several years ago there were serious discussions amongst the regulars about forming a cooperate with Panni and Lefteris and bidding for the Taverna, we finally backed out when we found out that the contract was for two years only.
Below is a link to my advert for the Taverna.

I've sent Black a text, and will ring Erica tonight so she can find it on YouTube |

Wow this looks like a beautiful beach, been to Skiathos 12+ times and am ashamed to admit I haven't visited more than 10 beaches. I will admit to being a banana beach addict & have usually had the beach to myself....ah the advantages of holidaying 1st week in May or last week in October.
Did visit 2 times in July/Aug and although the place was still stunning, I preferred everywhere without the bodies.
Back again 16th May and will definately pay a visit to some of the beaches recommended on this site. |

| This is a stunning beach, but unlike little banana it is not a nudist beach.. |
