The Skiathos Bulletin Board

Hi there!
My soon to become wife and my self, are going to Skiathos on our honeymoon this summer. Obviusly we are realy looking forward to that:) We are traveling late in june. We have been in Greece several times, but never Skiathos. I`ve read several reviews about the island, and it looks just perfect for us. We are staing at the Villa Alexis near the Megalli Amos beach. Anyone know anything about this hotel? I`m also wondering if anyone can give me some tips about realy romantic retaurants and taverns?

I'm sure you will love the island, we have been there four summers in a row, and we're also going this summer Smile

Villa Alexis is a very popular hotel amongst Scandinavians, with a nice view over the sea! It is also close to the town, which is very convenient.
When it comes to restaurants there are som many nice ones, but The Windmill is definitely a romantic spot. Scuna is also very romantic. You can do some searches om this forum, and you will get some ideas.

You definitely have something to look forward too Very Happy

Thank u. I`ve read some reviews about the windmill, and it looks good. My wife is having her birthday when we are at the island, so I think it will be a perfect ocation to reserve the "honeymoon table" at the restaurant.

I`ve been browsing the Skiathos Bulletin Board all day, and I like what I read very much. I recon I wil use a lot of time in here before I go. Planing and looking foreward to the trip is half the fun of traveling:)

TIP; Make sure you phone well in advance and book if you want the honeymoon table on a specific date.
