Hello all

We have not been to Skiathos for a few years now, but are thinking of coming back in September. Reading this Forum is making me very nostalgic!

Does anybody out there know whether Briki's is still around? It was in the square by the church

Thanks
Peter

Hi Jacqui & Peter

Sadly Brikis has gone and is now a boutique, The coffee shop by the church was great when it was there.
Gigi one of the daughters works with Geof at Skiathos Property, The antiques shop is still there though run by her father and mother who had the coffee shop.

Thanks for letting me know Ian. That's a shame, because we loved going there, it was a real haven ....

The other thing I meant to ask was how busy Skiathos would be the first two weeks in September - what do you think?

I think its one of the best times to visit, the island. Its after the busy August holiday period and things are starting to wind down.
Usually good weather with the odd storm, but the sea is warm and plenty of room on the beaches ...

Its a pretty popular time with the boomerangers too Wink ...

Since Brikis closed, I now go to the Gerani coffee shop which is opposite the taxi rank on the harbour.
