Hi
Have been to Turkey for the last 12 years but betterhalf is getting fed up so thought we would have a change. Once went to Corfu and enjoyed it so thought we would give Skiathos a try.
Have booked the Muses Hotel in Koukounaries - hope its OK. We like smaller resorts but with enough bars to keep us happy for a couple of weeks. Going mid September, so if anyone has any tips I would be really grateful. Can't seem to find any reports on the Hotel by the way so if anyone has any views on this that would be helpful too.
Cheers - think the idea of a forum like this is great for newbies

Welcome too!
Looks like you're going to the same Hotel as Sandy a friend of mine who also joined our BB today. There are a couple of replies on the hotel under Sandy's request, seems to be fine with return visitors too.
You wont find the hassle that you do in Turkey that's for sure! |

They are not particularly up to date but there may be some useful information. |

Hi Babs,This is Sandy,Sue's friend- there are lots of helpful tips on here and loads of good information too.
I am going on my first visit, in May,staying at Muses so when I come back,will make sure I put an update on here for you!!

It's OK Bab's,I make some lovely bloomers,you will love Greece and her Islands-we tried Turkey twice but always go back to Greece,so different,laid back,friendly and so stress free!!Just what the Dr ordered.
I am going on my own in May,have been to others on my own,wouldn't dream of this in Turkey-too much hard sell and aggro!
