It's called Tiffany's.
It's owned by the family that run Beltsios. Tony's father in law looks after the Airport taverna. Chips are nice (that's all I've had there) |

Don't know mate because we didn't sit there that long this year. We were having a snack when a couple of coaches came round the corner, so I legged it to check in |

Tannoy wasn't working last week , just waited 'till saw our pane land then went through to departure. It was the quietest I've ever seen it outside in the taverna only 3or 4 tables being used but inside departure was packed. _________________ andy s |

Thanks Foxy and Andys, got stuck in departure hall for 4 hours a couple of years back due to a "slight" delay. Once bitten, twice shy, its the Taverna for me and we'll look out for the coaches/planes. _________________ NickF |

| Hi. Last year we were "strongly advised" not to wait at the Taverna. The First Choice rep virtually marched us into the airport, but luckily we had no delay and it wasn't too packed. It will be interesting to see what advice we get from the Thomson rep this year! |

Unfortunately they prefer you to be safe and sound locked up in the departure lounge so they can deal with the incoming flights effectively. I have to hold my hand up though, these days they seem to be a lot more organised.
Skiathos (JSI) probably the most civilised airport in the world.
This year we did manage to give the check in supervisor a fright though, we checked in as soon as possible, checked to see if there were any delays and yes 25mins so then of to Troulos beach to have one last beer with friends. Usually it would have been koukounaries beach but circumstances have change, on the way back we decided that as we had an extra few minuets so we would say good by to friends in the town have one last look around town.
Upon returning to our car at the acropolis and forcing ourselves up the steep cobbled street we herd a voice from behind a silhouette as sun was very low by this time and directly behind this person “didn’t I check you in over an hour ago” and as we go nearer we could see the disbelief on her face with some muttering about you better make speed as you plane is in.
Well we arrived at the airport the plane was sitting on the runway we parked the car and cleared security just as the departure opened.
Gate 1, last one on again.
One day I simply won’t go. I won’t say “go home” because at this time I’m unsure where
home is but I won’t even take my bags to the airport.
Then we will party and everyone is invited. |

Messogia,
Up until very recently you could see them preparing there vegetables sitting at one of the tables out side under the grape vine.
Unfortunately the vine has gone but the food is still just as good with home made chips to.

I used to work at the the Airport Taverna the one on the left as you walk out of the airport (forgotten the name) My partner Sharon worked in Tiffanys both have good food, and yes the chips are homemade.
Some of the reps will tell you to avoid them as they dont recieve any commision to send you there, but most of the good reps will come back and let you know where and when you should go into airport so your not late for your flight, most of them will recieve a free drink and meal from the owner. I would reccomend checking in then go for a drink etc as it only takes a few minutes to get through to the plane. but dont blame me if your late. |
